  How much does it cost to visit Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinics?

  We offer accessible healthcare to everyone, so our consultant- led clinics are open to both laya healthcare members and non-members aged over 12 months.

  When you get urgent medical care at a Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinic, you may be covered under your scheme. Some schemes will have a ‘per visit’ excess.

  The amount of cover depends on your scheme, which you can check at any time in your Laya App or in the Member Area of the website. We want to ensure you can always get the care you need so we don’t place any cap on visits. You’ll be covered every time you visit the clinic.

  If you’re not a laya healthcare member, you can get urgent medical care at any of our clinics and pay on the day.

  Is there parking at Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinics?

  Yes, there is parking available at the Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinics.

   

  Cherrywood, Dublin (D18 W319)

  Free parking available

  Ground level carpark: There is a limited number of free parking spaces located directly outside the clinic entrance. Once parked, as you enter the building, please stop at the check-in desk and give your registration plate number to the concierge.

  Underground carpark: The underground carpark is located past the entrance to the clinic. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit down the ramp, then turn left into the underground carpark. Follow the signage to the designated Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinic spaces.

  Electric vehicle spaces are located on Level - 1

  Regular car spaces are located on Level -2.5

  Accessible parking There are 2 accessible parking spaces directly outside the clinic entrance. Additional spaces are located to the left as you drive along the main road towards the underground car park.

  No, you don’t need an appointment for urgent medical care for minor injuries and illnesses, but you do if you're coming to a Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinic for a screening or Healthcoach appointment. Choose the most relevant reason for you and follow the steps outlined below.

  Urgent care for minor injuries and illnesses

  No, you don’t need an appointment for urgent care for minor injuries and illnesses. You can walk into any of our clinics if you need medical help.

   

  Video consultations for minor illnesses

  If you are experiencing a minor illness such as a kidney infection or skin and eye issues you can book a video consultation from the comfort of your home with one our clinic doctors. To book a Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinic video consultation, call our Clinic on 0818 933 030.

   

  Healthcoach

  Yes, you need an appointment to see a Healthcoach. This service is open to laya healthcare members over the age of 18. Make an appointment for an in-person Healthcoach at a Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinic or a digital Healthcoach consultation.

   

  Heartbeat cardiac screening

  Yes, you need an appointment for Heartbeat cardiac screenings, which are available once every two years to laya healthcare members over the age of 12. Book your heart screening.

  How do I book a video consultation in Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinics?

  Our clinics are open on a walk-in basis 10am-10pm, 365 days a year.  We also offer video consultations for minor illnesses including kidney infections and skin and eye issues with one of our Clinic Doctors for patients aged 12+ months. Video Consultations can usually be booked within 2 hours. To book a Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinic video consultation, call our Clinic on 0818 933 030.

   

  Video consultations can be used for:

  • Clinical advice on some minor illnesses including kidney infections, skin and eye issues.
  • Prescription service to treat acute symptoms; antibiotics, painkillers, steroid creams etc if appropriate
  • Sick notes if appropriate.

   

  Video consultations should not be used for:

  • Any illness or symptoms related to Covid-19 (coronavirus) (please contact your own GP or the HSE directly on 1850 24 1850 who will direct you on next steps appropriate to your symptoms and situation)
  • Any hands-on examination and treatment
  • Any emergency treatment e.g. chest pain, stroke symptoms or bone fractures
  • Any pregnancy related issues.
  • Any controlled medications e.g. Morphine prescriptions
  • Any mental health issues.
  • Any neurological issue.

  Costs for video consultations:

  • Laya healthcare members can access unlimited Laya Health and Wellbeing Clinic video consultations as per the QuickCare benefit in your scheme.
  • If you are not a laya healthcare member, the cost of consultation is €60. This is payable by credit card in advance with an additional charge of €15 for prescriptions.
